Senior Product Designer at Zoya Finance

We're looking to launch features around portfolio management, trading/investing, zakat/charity, and other areas of personal finance this year.

What we're looking for

• Create high quality user experiences that aim to help our users make financial progress
• Experienced at talking to users and willing to constantly do so without encouragement
• Be able to articulate the rationale behind your design decisions, and be able to ask difficult questions and challenge assumptions
• Support and contribute to our design system
• You have good judgment of when to ship
• You care about details and are excited to keep pushing your work
• You lead by example and can mentor team members on a range of design practices

Basic requirements

• 5+ years relevant design experience at a tech company working on consumer-facing web and mobile apps
• Expert in either UI, UX, or visual design, but skilled in more disciplines across product design
• Portfolio of successfully launched projects
• Familiar with modern design tools like Figma
• Process-oriented but agile: you can quickly translate requirements into designs that are functional, beautiful, and simple but are not afraid to iterate
• Comfort working remotely in an autonomous and mostly async environment

Bonus

• Experience in fintech
• Experience designing enterprise/b2b apps
• Experience working with component libraries and/or design systems as a contributor

We're best known for pioneering free shariah compliance screening data that enables over 100k+ Muslim investors worldwide to build and monitor a halal investment portfolio with confidence and clarity.

Despite being such a large portion of the global population, the Muslim market has largely been neglected by conventional fintechs. We've launched a mobile app that allows users to screen stocks and help them ensure their investments are aligned with their values, but that's just the starting point. We're looking to launch features around portfolio management, trading/investing, zakat/charity, and other areas of personal finance this year.
