Senior Producer - Horizon Worlds at Oculus
As a Producer at Meta, you'll play a critical role in building the future of virtual reality content, entertainment, and applications.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience working cooperatively with cross-functional teams
- 6+ years of professional game industry work experience on various platforms
- Experience partnering with and managing outside vendors
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional game industry experience
- Shipped at least 1 console / PC / Mobile title as a Producer
- Experience working with different project management methodologies including waterfall, agile development, SCRUM or Kanban
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in game development with both internal and external development teams
- Experience with Live Service content management
- Mobile, Console, or PC development experience
- Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment, juggling projects and developers
- VR development experience
- Solid professional network and track record in interactive entertainment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Description
As a Producer at Meta, you'll play a critical role in building the future of virtual reality content, entertainment, and applications. You'll engage, support, and serve as the primary manager between Meta and key game developers and content partners. The ideal candidate has extensive game development experience and experience managing third party developers.
Senior Producer - Horizon Worlds Responsibilities:
- Work with Leads to coordinate a broad set of programming across all of content for Horizon Worlds, consistently communicating with cross functional partners to provide schedules, timelines and help drive the overall content programming plan
- Help to manage milestones and deliverables from external partners, addressing day-to-day production issues to allow partners to deliver on time and achieve the highest possible game quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect feedback, gather requirements, and break down large complex initiatives into manageable portions and actionable steps with proper estimated timelines and resources
- Work with a variety of different development teams to provide system level design feedback that helps frame live service development post launch
- Help manage game related documentation, QA teams, and operational efficiencies for a number of games in development. Keep pages up to date with the latest information and communicate changes to the team
- Conceptualize interesting and achievable VR interactions suited to our brand and our team
