• 5+ years of experience in PHP development and MySQL
• 2+ years of experience with the Laravel framework
• Experienced in writing testable code and automated tests
• Familiar with object-oriented design, software development best practices and Design Patterns
• Experienced with code optimization and refactoring
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
• Flexible attitude, strong commitment to quality and accountability
• Good understanding of REST API principles
• Ability to work autonomously, self-manage and schedule tasks in accordance with given deadlines.

Your Tasks:

• Implementing new features and creating resilient, scalable API-consuming services
• Designing, building, documenting and maintaining REST APIs
• Following/improving technical and coding standards for our project architecture to achieve scalable, high performance and secure systems
• Refactor current code base for better quality and maintainability
• Debug production issues/bugs and fix them appropriately
• Plan, spot technical risks, issues and dependencies and communicate the impact of these to the project team
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Doing code reviews
