Description

Position/Project Summary:

A2 Hosting is currently looking for a senior level Laravel Developer to join our software development team. For this role, we are seeking an expert (5+ years of experience) Laravel developer with a proven track record of shipping production quality Laravel web applications in a professional setting.

This position will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a custom control panel application which will be used by our external WordPress customers to manage their websites easily. Your expertise will help our team launch the control panel and continue developing features and improvements. In addition to the control panel project, this role will collaborate with other members of the software development team on various other projects including a WHMCS based client portal, our Helpdesk, as well as internal support tools.

• This full-time position is 100% fully remote and open to candidates in North and South America.

• This is a highly collaborative position that has working hour requirements of 9:00am-5:00pm EST
• Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Software Development team to launch and maintain A2 Hosting’s custom control panel application
• Pair program with other members of the Software Development team on projects including the WHMCS Client Portal, Helpdesk, and other internal support tools
• Escalated troubleshooting of systems in a 24/7 environment, including on call rotation
• Proactive maintenance of a large fleet of servers including customer environments
• Documentation of deployed systems, troubleshooting processes, infrastructure design, etc.
• Guidance and consultation on internal projects and company priorities
• Act as a mentor and role model for less experienced members of the development team by providing guidance and technical advice on projects in addition to coaching and educational opportunities
• Perform related duties as assigned, within scope of practice, to ensure individual, team, and organizational success
