We're looking for a senior graphic designer to create assets for multiple projects across CharacterStrong and work to create a cohesive design approach across our various services.


Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in graphic design
  • A desire to create excellent, beautiful, meaningful things
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, XD and/or Sketch
  • An online portfolio of quality work. It should demonstrate conceptual and critical thinking, an eye for visual design, and mastery of interactive interfaces
  • Knowledge of established best practices and current design trends
  • Ability to present and sell ideas to the team
  • Quality work delivered on deadline and budget in a fast-paced team
  • Strong experience achieving a holistic design vision for a SaaS product and brand
  • Knowledge of CSS/HTML/JavaScript is a plus

Description

The Position: We're looking for a senior graphic designer to create assets for multiple projects across CharacterStrong and work to create a cohesive design approach across our various services. From developing lesson plans for educators that are easy-to-understand and engaging to look at to creating posters for schools to print out and display in their halls, to generating social media assets, this role provides range and far-reaching impact in the education space. Teachers and students alike across all 50 states and 15 countries will see your work daily.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality digital artwork and illustrations for curriculum, merchandise, social media posts, and webpages
  • Design assets, print materials, and emails
  • Manage outside designers we are currently leveraging to assist with execution
  • Work with key stakeholders to define creative vision and direction
  • Solve complex user and business problems using design thinking
  • Create innovative presentation templates
  • Work with and support teams across the company by creating digital content
  • Continue to build and innovate on the current design of CharacterStrong and bring content into a cohesive whole

Pay & Benefits

  • $75,000 - 85,000 base salary (experience dependent)
