Senior Fullstack Engineer at C.H. Robinson

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer you will be responsible for delivering solutions to our business users to help them efficiently and effectively manage their global freight network.


Required Qualifications:

  • +5 years of experience in creating applications and features in C#, .NET Core, JavaScript
  • HTTP and REST architecture experience
  • Experience with SQL Server
  • Proficient with unit, integration, and acceptance testing
  • Proficient with version control systems (ex. GIT, GitHub, TFS, etc.)
  • Experience with CI/CD continuous integration / continuous deployment practices
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to share knowledge with juniors and mentor them

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with React or/and TypeScript or/and Redux
  • Experience with cloud technologies (we use Azure)
  • Experience with data streaming and messaging architecture and frameworks (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ESB)
  • Experience with non-relational databases (ex. MongoDB, Elastic, Cosmos)
  • Experience in system integration projects or global projects


Description

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer you will be responsible for delivering solutions to our business users to help them efficiently and effectively manage their global freight network.

In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating requirements, estimating tasks, and writing code that meets performance, quality, business, and security objectives.

You will collaborate with other software engineers, product managers, and quality assurance analysts to solve complex problems, improve our software development processes and standards, and keep up with emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop software and designs solutions to satisfy customer requirements that consider performance and availability
  • Collaborate with product managers and principal software engineers to translate requirements into detailed designs
  • Increase code quality through writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies
  • Adopt established best practices while contributing to the definition of the engineering lifecycle as well as the definition of best practices
  • Mentor and coach other software engineers by participating in design and code reviews and share best practices; proactively seek mentorship from others
