Senior Full Stack Engineer at Apprentice
Apprentice is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to work on a dynamic product and platform development team to design, develop, and improve SaaS products, features, applications, and designs for our clients.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working on SaaS applications and business focused products.
- 5+ years of experience with automated testing.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent in computer science or another related field.
- Development experience with proven understanding of Angular 6+ , Typescript, MongoDB, Express.js, Nest.js, Node.js, and various other tools, languages and frameworks.
- Proven experience with web services (JSON, XML, REST, etc.)
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- A solid foundation in computer science, with competencies in data modeling, algorithm development, and clean software design
- Deep understanding of the need for testing and comfort with writing unit and integration tests as needed.
- Understand technical designs at the application level, define technical strategies, and work closely with cross functional teams.
- Ability to clearly articulate problems and recommend creative solutions to cross functional leadership.
- Excellent communication skills, are a team player in a fast paced environment, and have a drive for learning new technologies!
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines for concurrent projects/assignments in a fast-paced environment

About the role:
Apprentice is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to work on a dynamic product and platform development team to design, develop, and improve SaaS products, features, applications, and designs for our clients. Given our customer base, quality and reliability of our software is paramount, and is a key component to the role.
This position can be located remotely with expectations to travel to the office twice a year or as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and implementing web applications in a dynamic SaaS product environment.
- Strong ability to produce clean and precise code within Angular 6+, Typescript, node.js, MongoDB, Express.js, Nest.js and various other technologies.
- Contributing effectively at many different points in a project life cycle as an individual contributor working within cross functional teams across product, and business minded engineers.
- Constantly meeting and exceeding project timelines, addressing, and resolving any technical issues, and providing timely creative solutions.
- Participate in cross functional and technical group discussions with product leadership and developers under moderate to little supervision.
- Delivering on both projects and support tasks in a cross functional fast paced environment
- Developing concise and clear technical design documents based on analytics of technical business requirements.

Salary Range: $140,000 to $200,000 depending upon qualifications and experience. This range is subject to flexibility based on the aforementioned criteria.
