Senior Frontend Engineer at Real Broker, LLC

In this position you will be a leader in our front end development team, implementing new features, squashing bugs, and helping shape the technical vision and strategy for all front end engineering at Real.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• You are an experienced front end engineer with TypeScript, React, and React Native
• You are comfortable writing Jest tests and Cypress tests and maintaining strong code coverage
• You are opinionated in the direction that the front end is going, and will give recommendations for the long-term health of the project
• You are welcoming to other engineers, have a collaborative attitude, and are excited to both learn and teach new knowledge
• You enjoy working with a remote team that spans many different time zones and locations

Job Summary:

In this position you will be a leader in our front end development team, implementing new features, squashing bugs, and helping shape the technical vision and strategy for all front end engineering at Real.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• You will implement features, squash bugs, and make improvements across our React / Redux web app and React Native mobile application
• Help lead the overall technical vision and strategy for all things Front End, including advocating for improvements to product quality, performance and developer experience
• Collaborate with other engineers through pairing sessions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing in our weekly Friday Dev Chats
• Mentor and lead junior engineers in software engineering methodology, design, and best practices
• Work with the product team and feature owners to understand requirements and see them through to execution and deployment
