Senior Azure DevOps Engineer at Hexure

We are seeking a passionate Sr. Azure DevOps Engineer with deep technical know-how and hands-on experience implementing practices and tools to build and maintain a stable and efficient Azure infrastructure to optimize platform service delivery across production, quality, and development environments throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience managing application development, software delivery lifecycle, and/or infrastructure development and administration.
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing Continuous Delivery and/or DevOps solutions and patterns.
• 5+ years of experience managing code repositories, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployments.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure Administration including core PaaS services.
• 3+ years of experience building and managing Azure DevOps Pipelines and/or GitHub Actions
• 3+ years of experience with ARM, Bicep, or Terraform
• 3+ years of experience with scripting tools including Powershell.
• 3+ years of experience with Windows Server/IIS/SQL Server/.NET technology stack.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL or Azure SQL
• Certifications Preferred: Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure Administrator, or Azure Developer

Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate Sr. Azure DevOps Engineer with deep technical know-how and hands-on experience implementing practices and tools to build and maintain a stable and efficient Azure infrastructure to optimize platform service delivery across production, quality, and development environments throughout the development lifecycle.

This role designs, troubleshoots issues, maintains, and continuously improves build, deployment, and automation processes. This role drives automated infrastructure capabilities like CI/CD deployment pipelines, templates, and scripts to bring operational consistency as well as continuous operational improvements.

The Sr. Azure DevOps Engineer must be passionate about improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction through working collaboratively with groups across the enterprise (engineering, product, services, cyber security, services, etc.) to drive quality and speed of innovation. This role will recommend actions, processes, and shifts that will result in KPI and operational improvements. This individual works under the direction of the Manager of DevOps.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Identifies, assesses, and solves complex technical problems, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors, and applies various tool and automation solutions to drive frequent and quality solutions for an enterprise SaaS platform.
• Ability to collaborate and coordinate across multiple disciplines to deliver aligned solutions meeting multiple complex needs that ultimately delivers a world-class experience to the ecosystem Hexure serves.
• Designs all aspects of Continuous Delivery implementation on Hexure systems build or application support projects.
• Works with developers and management to develop plans and implement delivery pipelines. Designs, documents, automates and supports CI/CD pipelines promoting code across R&D and operationally critical environments.
• Maintains run books and operations supporting the provisioning, deprecation, and 24x7 operations of the Hexure SaaS platform. Coordinates with various teams including SOC to ensure platform is highly available and secure.
• Develops and operates infrastructure as code, monitoring, and logging.
• Work with cybersecurity to ensure secure practices and policies are woven into every aspect of operations.
• Supports the development of high-quality software through automation that enables development and quality teams.
• Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
• Contributes to DevOps practice development including asset creation, and enterprise strategy.

Expected hours of Work:

This is a full-time position with regular office hours Monday through Friday, and after-hours and on-call work as needed.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
