We need one to Implement, test, and operate advanced software security techniques to ensure the efficacy of the product design;


What you need for this role:

  • Proven work experience as a software security engineer;
  • Detailed technical knowledge of techniques, standards, and state-of-the-art capabilities for authentication and authorization, applied cryptography, security vulnerabilities, and remediation;
  • Adequate knowledge of web-related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, and Service-Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols;
  • Up to date understanding of the source code programming languages, such as PHP, .NET etc. that you will be using;
  • An analytical mind with the ability to create source code;
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills;
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills;
  • Interest in continuous career development;
  • Nice to have: technical studies in Automatics, Electronics, Mathematics and Computer Science (student or graduate).
  • Cybersecurity certification is a plus (e.g. CEH).

What you will do:

  • Participate in the life cycle development of software systems;
  • Develop, maintain and audit the software security strategy;
  • Have knowledge of attack vectors that may be used to exploit software;
  • Perform ongoing security testing for software vulnerabilities;
  • Research and identify flaws;
  • Create secure software tools and systems with a team of developers;
  • Implement, test, and operate advanced software security techniques to ensure the efficacy of the product design;
  • Responsible for security code review;
  • Assist and guide the QA team in identifying potential security vulnerabilities during the testing phase;
  • Take a lead in software design, implementation, and testing;
  • Perform periodic security assessments on the developed systems;
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise;
  • Communicate with the development team to ensure possible threats are anticipated and properly mitigated;
  • Consult team members on secure programming practices;
  • Provide assistance, feedback, and support to the team;
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by keeping in touch with the latest technologies and sharing information with the team.
