Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science, or equivalent work experience
- Three or more years of applicable experience
- Experience Should Include
- Experience working I.T. environments including service-oriented and IT architecture, system and technology integration, and IT standards, procedures and policies, and emerging technologies
- Experience performing technical troubleshooting of cloud technologies
- Working proficiency with various cloud technology tools such as AWS, AZURE to build automated solutions and documenting the workflows
- Experience in I.T. systems management including change control, software process improvement, and technical writing/documentation
- Working knowledge of information security architectures, security technologies, administration
- Knowledge of network and internet security
- Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with co-workers, customers and management
- 6+ months working with Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC)
- Project coordination, relationship management, resource identification and management
- Identification and documentation of risk and compliance concerns, action items, remediation plans, and ensure details are captured for escalations to leaders
- Ability to critically think and problem solve when direction is not given
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Coding with Python, Terraform and relevant testing
- Knowledge of Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with Tableau or BI reporting tools
- Understanding of Agile & JIRA

Job Description
U.S Bank is seeking a Security Cloud Automation Engineer who will implement and supports solutions/technologies including: network proxies, intrusions, detection/prevention systems, remote access, second factor authentication, security event monitoring, infrastructure and system hardening, patch deployment and vulnerability management.
Responsibilities:
- Performs the daily operation and execution of security-related tools, processes and controls related to cyber defense initiatives.
- Helps coordinate and drive remediation of identified risks and control deficiencies.
- Looks for ways to optimize security processes and recommend opportunities and solutions for improvement and automation.
- Serves as technical and function subject matter expert across multiple security domain areas, raising awareness and communicating security risks within the company.
- Supports and participates in incident response and technical investigations as needed.
- Ensures adherence to compliance regulations and policies.
- Assist with ongoing continuous monitoring functions
- Improve audit readiness testing techniques
- Work cross functionally with Security, IT, Infrastructure, Engineering, Data, and Finance to provide guidance on effectiveness of technical security controls
- Communicate effectively and proactively with ideas and recommendations for optimizing business operations, resources, and capacity to meet internal and external compliance goals
- Provide thought leadership on innovative ways to address evolving cyber risk

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $92,480.00 - $108,800.00 - $119,680.00
