Remote Product Designer at Underdog.io

Underdog.io is a modern recruiting platform. One of our hiring partners is looking to hire a Product Designer.

The company is looking to hire someone with (1) a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, (2) substantial experience in product design or a closely related field, and (3) a deep understanding of user-centric design principles, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing. The ideal candidate should also have hands-on experience with modern design tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating user needs into design solutions, and/or maintaining and expanding design systems.

In this role, you'll work on designing intuitive interfaces and crafting exceptional user experiences for the company's suite of digital products. The ideal candidate will be innovative, display leadership capabilities, and be passionate about turning user insights into beautiful and functional designs as the company consistently seeks to elevate its digital presence and user satisfaction.

On a typical day, you will (1) conceptualize and iterate on design solutions, (2) participate in or lead brainstorming sessions to gather user requirements and feedback, (3) critically review design prototypes and mockups to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and user expectations, (4) update and enhance existing designs based on user feedback or evolving product features, and (5) collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs.

The company leverages cutting-edge design tools and platforms, including Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision, among others.
