About the Role:

We are seeking a Junior .NET Developer to join our customer-facing Development team. As a member of our team, you will work alongside Backend and Frontend Developers and receive guidance from a Development Team Lead. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining scalable client solutions and enhancing our platform code. This role offers opportunities for innovation, improving efficiencies, and collaborating within a dynamic team, which includes members based in Canada.

• Scoping and implementing scalable solutions
• Building and maintaining strong internal and external client relationships
• Documenting solutions
• Undertaking routine work as part of our team, as well as longer term pieces of work.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience
• Critical thinking and investigation skills
• Commercial awareness
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Evidence of good prioritisation and organisational skills

Skills

Some experience in a Junior Software Development role
Training will be provided where necessary, but experience in any of the following core technologies will be an advantage:

• SQL Server 2014+/T-SQL
• ASP.NET, C#
• Object-oriented methodologies
• Agile methodologies
• Web APIs (REST/SOAP)
• Version control and git (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket)
• CI/CD pipelines
• Monitoring services (e.g., DataDog)
• AWS Services
• JavaScript, Node.js
