React to Next.js developer - Part-time - Worldwide at blackwise
We are seeking a skilled React to Next.js Software Developer to assist in the seamless transition of React.js code to Next.js. You will be responsible for optimizing and migrating our existing React.js application to Next.js, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand existing React.js codebase.
- Collaborate with the development team to plan and execute the migration process to Next.js.
- Implement best practices for Next.js development to enhance performance and user experience.
- Optimize code for SEO and server-side rendering (SSR) capabilities.
- Develop reusable components and modules in Next.js for future projects.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise during the migration process.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Next.js features, updates, and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in React.js and Next.js frameworks.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
- Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and client-side rendering (CSR) concepts.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL for data integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Skills:
