Quality Assurance Engineer at Ahead

AHEAD is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to work closely with our dynamic project teams (both on-site and remotely).

Qualifications:

• 3+ years QA experience
• Strong defect analysis, detection and problem solving skills
• Understanding of quality assurance processes and testing techniques
• Exposure to Java
• Experience with Cucumber and Gherkin
• REST API testing using API testing tools (such as Postman)
• Strong communication skills
• Exposure to Agile SCRUM and relevant sprint activities
• Knowledge of SQL scripting on Oracle or another DBMS
• Payments experience is preferable but not essential

AHEAD is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to work closely with our dynamic project teams (both on-site and remotely). This Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible creating and implementing best practice testing strategies to support our clients’ software engineering initiatives. This consultant will build, and support suites of automated tests using modern automated testing tools to ensure quality across our clients development and deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Test automation experience – development of tests/scripting and execution
• Java knowledge and usage
• BDD, Gherkin, Cucumber exposure and usage
• Strong API testing using Postman
• Understanding of quality assurance processes and testing techniques
• Strong defect analysis, detection and problem solver
• Excellent & strong communication skills in English
• Exposure to Agile SCRUM and relevant sprint activities
• Knowledge of SQL scripting on Oracle or another DBMS
• Payments experience is preferred
