NATECH is recruiting for a Quality Assurance Analyst to support the Indian Health Service (IHS) Office of Information Technology (OIT) Division of Information Technology (DITO) Web Services team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree with 10 years of relevant experience, with at least one year providing quality assurance for an IT development and maintenance team

Desired

  • Experience providing IT services to IHS, Health and Human Services (HHS), or a related health organization

Preferred

  • Relevant Quality certifications.


Description:

NATECH is recruiting for a Quality Assurance Analyst to support the Indian Health Service (IHS) Office of Information Technology (OIT) Division of Information Technology (DITO) Web Services team. The selected candidate would be responsible to maintain and improve a quality assurance process that ensures technical requirements are established; products and services conform to established technical requirements, and satisfactory performance is achieved for contracted services.

This work is contingent on award of a new contract expected to start in February 2023.

This position is expected to work remote from home 100%.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and maintain a Quality Assurance Plan containing all deliverables and milestones and their associated quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain a Configuration Management Plan and work with the team to ensure all members understand their role in maintaining the standard.
  • Develop test plans, procedures, and conduct both software integration testing and software acceptance testing for all new and modified software baselines
  • Perform quality control inspections necessary in the performance of the various tasks as assigned and identified by the respective WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), POA&Ms (Plans of Action and Milestones), or quality system, and submit related quality objective evidence for web application rollouts.
  • Provide insight into performance criteria for each project phase including a definition of the performance requirements, performance objectives, acceptable quality levels, surveillance method, and incentive metrics.
  • Plan and conduct internal acceptance testing prior to release of any software versions, enhancements, or upgrades.
  • Validate, test, and ensure the enhancements meet user and operational requirements as documented, including how the new/redesigned software integrates with current applications and execute regression testing.
  • Ensure testing includes validating changes with requirements documentation and following testing the requirement documents are updated (software design, architecture diagrams, security certification and accreditation, and test reports).
