Skills

Must have

• Minimum 6 months Experience with Android devices.
• ADB/Android Studio
• Charles proxy
• Networking troubleshooting
• Jira

Knowledge of testing methodology. Must be detail-oriented and know how to report on the results of any tests that they conduct. Need to know how to run a variety of different manual software tests.

Nice to have

Previous experience with set up box testing is a plus.

Description

DIRECTV Android TV-based Set Top Box, proprietary "Over-the-Top" (OTT) device that delivers video and integrated content to your TV over the internet.

It enables you to watch online videos, listen to music, use thousands of third-party apps, and play games—all on your TV.

Responsibilities

• Run multiple tests simultaneously making sure tasks to be complete on time
• Collect Device Logs
• Provide Mobile Device test execution and test case for Netflix app, Google Smoke Tests and AT&T proprietary applications
• Provide device testing of pre-loaded apps including DirectTV, Neflix and other.
• Conduct testing for AT&T proprietary apps available.
• Log, track and follow up on defects until completion
• Ad Hoc testing, Testing, Regression Testing, Manual Testing, Functional Testing
