This position is responsible for testing automated digital media workflows. It requires basic database skills, general familiarity with a variety of digital media file formats, and the ability to troubleshoot while performing workflow quality control


QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

Basic qualifications:

  • *Knowledge of digital content creation workflows, processes, techniques, and distribution
  • processes/platforms – Media Asset Management
  • *Database usage ability
  • *Minimum 4 years’ experience in digital content supply chain
  • *Detail and Process oriented
  • *Strong oral and written communication skills
  • *General familiarity with the following video codecs: MPEG2, MPEG4, QuickTime, ProRes, H.264.
  • *General familiarity with the following audio codecs: AAC, MPEG, AC-3, PCM/WAV
  • *General familiarity with the following image codecs: JPG, PNG, TIFF
  • *General familiarity with other digital media file formats used for subtitling and closed captioning

Desired skills:

  • *Jira (or comparable) ticketing systems
  • *Experience with automated QC software/systems
  • *MAC & PC Operating Systems, MS Office programs


Description:

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for testing automated digital media workflows. It requires basic database skills, general familiarity with a variety of digital media file formats, and the ability to troubleshoot while performing workflow quality control

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

  • *Management of client testing queues
  • *Work order creation/management (Xytech Media Pulse experience preferred)
  • *Gaining a thorough understanding of multiple, coordinating MAM systems
  • *Following a work order as automated workflows take it through each MAM system, and ensuring that
  • complete and correct digital assets are obtained
  • *Digital media file manipulation
  • *Technical verification of digital assets
  • *Error reporting
  • *Documentation and reporting on testing progress

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Quality assurance: 4 years (Required)
