Requirements:

• Min 3 years Performance testing experience
• High School Diploma
• Experience with JMeter is preferred
• Requires User Interface / Web Application / API (Soup& Rest) performance testing knowledge
• Should have a strong skills in SQL (Oracle, Postgres, or MSSQL)
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems
• Experience in the AWS Cloud and/or MS Azure is preferred
• Experience trouble shooting performance related technical issues and strategizing performance tests for large or distributed programs

Job Description:

QA Performance Testers are responsible for identifying, and then eliminating or mitigate any potential issues that would affect performance and negatively impact user experience. They are involved in the entire development cycle, often working closely with developers, technical analysts, and other technical users. They perform system analysis, test plan creation, scripting performance test, execution, results analysis and troubleshooting tasks, and use a variety of test and analysis tools and programs to meet these goals.

Role Description:

• Create and execute performance test strategy and test plan, interfacing with all level of the application protocol stack
• Work with the entire team to identify potential application and infrastructure bottlenecks and suggest changes
• Set up the performance test process from scratch
• Own the performance test process
• Mentor QA team on best practices
• Ensure highest standard of testing is achieved
• Work on latest technologies and gain insight on new business models
• Expand scope and depth of your technical leadership
• Work alongside architects to set up the performance test processes
• Identify bottle necks, stress and load test and follow performance testing processes

It would be nice if you:

• Can show us one or more passion projects or open-source work you have contributed to in your own time
• Associate or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science.
• Have experience with AWS, test management tools

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Salary Pay Range: $67,000.00 - $89,000.00
