QA Engineer at Healthedge

We need one to Analyzes the story requirements, participates in story discussions, and develops a comprehensive approach to testing the functionality;

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Master of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field (foreign equivalent is acceptable) plus 2 years of experience in automated test development.
• Employment experience must include:
• A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated employment experience using commercial testing software, including Selenium
• A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated employment experience testing web applications
• A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated employment experience with Enterprise level and SOA systems
• A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated employment experience writing tests for multiple browser platforms, including Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Safari
• A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated employment experience with Java and Javascript languages
• A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated employment experience with HTML and CSS technologies
• A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated employment experience working in an Agile development environment
• A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated employment experience providing QA metrics and establishing QA processes and standards

DUTIES:

• Provides technical leadership and strategic direction for the product testing team;
• Works with other product organizations to design and organize cross-product system tests;
• Participating member of an agile team including daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and sprint planning;
• Analyzes the story requirements, participates in story discussions, and develops a comprehensive approach to testing the functionality;
• Executes test plans and reviews problems with team members as necessary;
• Isolates problems to succinct failure steps, and files defects appropriately;
• Performs all types of manual testing;
• Executes automated tests, understands and reports on results;
• Writes automated browser and server tests, maintains and fixes existing tests; and
• Performs all job functions consistent with HealthEdge policies and procedures, including those which govern handling PHI and PII.
