QA Automation Engineer at Yum! Brands

We are seeking aSoftware Engineer in Testwho will be responsible for working within an established automated test framework to create and maintain automated integration and regression test coverage for our eCommerce platform.

You Have

• A bachelor’s in CS, CIS, engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience writing end-to-end integration, component, and contract tests.
• 3+ years of experience with software development and/or QA automation
• 3+ years of software engineering experience in Test Automation, Test framework development, and Functionality Testing
• 3+ years experience implementing test automation for RESTful APIs, experience with GraphQL is a major plus.
• Strong experience developing automated tests in Javascript
• Extensive experience testing microservices based multi-tiered web applications, and complex data-driven applications
• Strong experience with AWS/Azure etc. cloud technologies - Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience working with Docker containers, ECR/GCR registries
• Experience with Continuous Integration systems (e.g., Jenkins,Git, Gitlab etc)

What We Need

Our dynamic eCommerce Platform team is rapidly growing as we optimize our digital ordering channels and technology innovations to create competitive advantages for our restaurants around the globe. We are seeking aSoftware Engineer in Testwho will be responsible for working within an established automated test framework to create and maintain automated integration and regression test coverage for our eCommerce platform. In this role, you will work as part of a scrum delivery team to ensure that automated tests are in place that assure functionality works as expected from the moment it is released.

You Will

Start with:

• Develop automated integration and regression tests for new & existing functionality
• Report to a QA Manager, but work day-to-day embedded in a scrum team
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities for your scrum team
• Identify, record, and document defects identified within our products

Expand to:

• Contribute to internally built test frameworks, new test tools to provide a seamless automation experience to support product releases
• Implement and improve existing new automation framework features with little guidance
• Maintain test infrastructure stability in non-production environments
• Take ownership of test failures and ensure that our CI system is reliable

Salary Range: $66,000to $85,470annually + bonus eligibility (if applicable)This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
