Product Design Lead at Melange Technologies

The product design lead will coordinate with the UI/UX team and the marketing team, taking designs from one and consumer research from the other in order to refine the UX we have imagined for the product.

Qualifications:

• Experience with product design OR some combination of experience with UX, marketing, and engineering
• Has developed skills in design, marketing, or engineering and has some familiarity with all three
• Can communicate effectively and bring high-level context to decisions
• Is thoughtful of others, their time, and their work
• [optional] Lives/ has lived in the EU or UK for an extended period of time

Summary:

Melange is a design-driven prediction market startup that turns exchanges into consumer entertainment, social media, and financial products. Our first product to be launched in 4 months will be a live betting prediction market app built on the Solana blockchain. The product design lead will be the anchor of our product development over the next 4 months, iterating on our prototype designs and refining our user experience. The product design lead will coordinate with the UI/UX team and the marketing team, taking designs from one and consumer research from the other in order to refine the UX we have imagined for the product.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate UI/UX and marketing teams
• Design promotions structure
• Refine user flow
• Participate in screening and training new product team members
• Ensure product prototypes reach project milestones

All team members attend a daily virtual morning meeting that lasts less than 15 minutes. In addition to daily stand ups, the product lead would be expected to give a presentation of the progress every two weeks and be able to make themselves available for calls during typical business hours on most days of the week.

The product design lead will work alongside the UI/UX design lead and the marketing lead and will report to the founders.

Salary:

70,000 - 95,000 plus potential equity, ICO, and IDO options

Location:

Remote at the moment and possibly a New York office in the future.
