Part-time Visual Designer/Illustrator at Fairing

We are seeking a Contract Visual Designer to provide part-time support to our team for a range of design tasks.

What skills you will need:

• Demonstrable graphic design experience with a compelling portfolio.

• A solid foundation in design, layout, color and typography to art direct digital assets

• Attention to aesthetic and detail

• Skills for creating 2D digital assets / iconography

• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a remote work setting.

• Strong communication skills.

• Familiarity with SEO and web traffic metrics.

• Prior experience with motion graphics work

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of digital Graphic/Visual Design experience
• Expert knowledge of design software (i.e. Figma, Adobe Suite - Illustrator, After Effect, Photoshop, In Design)
• Experience with animation, motion design and dynamic interactions is nice to have
• Experience working on digital products and/or with Product Designer
• Typeface and or illustration design skills

We are seeking a Contract Visual Designer to provide part-time support to our team for a range of design tasks. This is an exciting opportunity to work on various design projects, including website and UI designs, while working closely with our Lead Designer. You will contribute to maintaining and developing our brand's visual identity and ensuring the highest quality output. This role is ideal for a talented designer looking for a flexible, contract-based position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with the Lead Designer to understand and meet project goals, objectives and share progress.

• Contribute to a wide array of design tasks, including UI elements, web pages, and other visual requirements.

• Maintain and develop visual assets with consistent brand identity.

• Design and implement high-quality SEO-friendly content for our website.

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive design and optimal user experience.

• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in digital design tools and technologies.

Note: This contract position requires a commitment of approximately 10 hours per week. Remote work options available. The contract length and terms will be discussed during the interview process.
