Online DevOps Engineer at FileCloud
In this role you will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and managing the company’s software development and production systems as well as give quality support. This role is fully remote and will require working remotely with other team members.
Ideal Candidate:
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Possess UNIX/Linux system administration skills such as user account management, hardware setup and troubleshooting etc
- Exposure to any one of the cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) in security, containers, storage, etc
- Experience in shell scripting and languages like Python/PHP/Golang
- Display knowledge of containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
- Be familiar with configuration management and IaC tools like Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, etc
- Experience in application support, troubleshooting issues, and monitoring systems like Nagios
- Experience with networking, firewalls, and load balancers
- Experience in security management is preferred
- Good written and verbal English communication

FileCloud is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and experienced Online DevOps Engineer to join our team in the US. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and managing the company’s software development and production systems as well as give quality support. Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve infrastructure, container, and service-level/application-level security
- Understand and support L1 and L2 FileCloud product issues
- Participate in automation initiatives to streamline processes, improve efficiencies and reduce hosting costs
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex software and infrastructure issues and develop tools/systems for task automation
- Work with the internal team to provide distributed, highly available infrastructure
- Ensure proper monitoring and backup of all internal and production infrastructure
- Support as needed for critical and escalated issues
- Responsible for managing and upgrading AWS servers
- Collaborate with software architects and application teams to ensure optimal software delivery
- Application performance and scalability to build highly resilient systems
