Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other four year degree with
• significant IS experience OR equivalent experience.
• Three (3) years software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a complex information systems environment.

Description

The .Net Software Engineer position will develop information systems by designing, developing, and testing software solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop software by studying Zelis’ information and technology requirements; analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle; evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, and solution development.

• Prepare solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities.
• Protect operations by improving security and by keeping information confidential.
• Accomplish Zelis’ mission by completing related results as needed.
• Follow established HIPAA, Compliance & Security policies.
• Provide constructive feedback by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
