We need one to Design and develop new web applications (i.e. payroll and retirement solutions)
Requirements
Qualified candidates must have an in-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle, gather and analyze business requirements for software development and be able to communicate project status, issues and resolutions to managers and clients. Candidates must also be team players - willing to teach and to learn, have exceptional task management skills, strong initiative and excellent communication skills.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- 3 – 4 years of .NET development experience
- Working knowledge of .NET Framework, VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#, SQL
- Full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and change management experience
- Strong foundation of HTML, CSS, JQuery and Entity Framework
- Experience with Team Foundation Server or similar source control programs
- Experience creating technical documentation (SOW and Use Cases)
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Windows PowerShell)
- Knowledge in using best practices to perform software design, systems analysis, QA and testing
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of ADO.NET, IIS, Visual Studio 2013/2017, SQL Server 2016/2019, MVC, XML, Web API, Web Services, database design, writing SQL queries, triggers and stored procedure
- Experience working in a payroll or human capital environment software environment

Strongpoint Partners, a leading tech-enabled financial services retirement platform backed by Shore Capital Partners (SCP), is looking for a motivated .Net Developer to join our technology team. This individual will be a key partner to our payroll and retirement teams and focus on delivering and maintaining web applications aligned to key business priorities. This role will also be responsible for enhancing and maintaining internal applications, programming, and scripting. The .Net Developer will also work with the operations and service teams to help streamline systems and applications.
Strongpoint Partners provides third-party administration of retirement plans and outsourced HR and payroll solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. Strongpoint offers an integrated software platform for retirement planning and payroll, and is pursuing a growth strategy that includes add-on acquisitions and organic growth initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and develop new web applications (i.e. payroll and retirement solutions)
- Documents testing, error resolutions, and overall software development process
- Make modifications and enhancements to existing applications for error correction, adaptation to new hardware and to improve overall function and performance
- Coordinate projects with managers and clients
- Assist in development of web service integrations with third party vendors
- Develop custom reports with business stakeholders
- Independently research and make recommendations for improvements to enhance methodology, capability, ease-of-use, and efficiency
- Collaborate with peers and work on multiple projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Enthusiastic to learn new technologies required for project requirements
