.NET Developer at C.H. Robinson

As a Software Engineer .NET on CH Robinson’s Global Forwarding team, you be responsible for delivering solutions to our business users to help them efficiently and effectively manage their global freight network.

Required Qualifications:

• +3 years of experience in creating applications and features in an object-oriented environment - C#/.NET, JavaScript
• Experience with SQL Server
• Proficient with unit, integration, and acceptance testing
• Proficient with version control systems (ex. GIT, GitHub, TFS, etc.)
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to thrive in a collaborative, creative, dynamic workplace
• Fluent English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Experience with data streaming and messaging architecture and frameworks (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ESB)
• Exerperice with React and UI design
• HTTP and REST architecture experience

Description

As a Software Engineer .NET on CH Robinson’s Global Forwarding team, you be responsible for delivering solutions to our business users to help them efficiently and effectively manage their global freight network.

The team creates a new version of NaviSphere Online 2.0, an internal application for business users working on international transport.

We are building new applications and services for the Accounting domain in Global Forwarding division based on the domain driven design architecture and SOLID principles. The products we are implementing allow internal clients to setup admin configuration on the different levels of the organization hierarchy (Global/Country/Customer). This configuration is later consumed by the new financial editor application allowing user to automate process related to entering financial information. The front-end is built on React/Redux libraries and our backend services conform to REST standards.

Responsibilites

• Develop software and designs solutions to satisfy customer requirements that consider performance and availability
• Collaborate with product managers and principal software engineers to translate requirements into detailed designs
• Increase code quality through writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests
