.NET Developer at A-TEK, Inc.

A-TEK is seeking a .NET Application Developer to join our development team. Initially developing a complex web application with ASP.NET core and SQL Server to a very important and interesting new commercial client.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of web application development experience with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or will accept directly related experience and equivalent training in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience using .NET and C#
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience using ASP.NET MVC and Web API web development
• Minimum 2 to 3 years developing SQL Server or similar databases
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience developing with JavaScript and CSS
• Strong communications skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Able to work independently and within a team environment
• Able to translate concepts and specifications into usable, efficient customer-facing applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of cloud concepts such as Azure App Services and serverless development
• Git, GitHub
• Azure Devops
• Automated unit testing frameworks like nUnit
• JIRA
• Agile development experience
• Experience supporting Federal customers.

A-TEK is seeking a .NET Application Developer to join our development team. Initially developing a complex web application with ASP.NET core and SQL Server to a very important and interesting new commercial client. You will be joining a team of dedicated and experienced software professionals developing and delivering software for Federal and Commercial clients. Working as a developer with our Architects and other developers you will develop technical solutions that solve complex business problems and drive innovation in government healthcare services. We are looking for strong delivery focused consultants capable of working directly with our customers and providing excellent customer service and high-quality solutions. This position is a short-term Consulting position (3-5 months) that may result in long-term engagement. 1099 applicants are welcome!
