Mobile Test Engineer at Ancestry

Ancestry is seeking a Mobile Test Engineer to work with a well-established, smart and friendly team, helping to ship high-quality native mobile app features to millions of users on a regular basis.

You have:

• 2 or more years of experience manually testing native mobile apps on Android and iOS
• 1 or more years working on test automation using XCTest or Espresso
• Familiarity with mobile testing tools: Xcode, TestRail, Android Studio, Charles, Bitrise
• Experience working on an agile scrum team, shipping high quality code at a fast pace
• Passionate about mobile app development

Ancestry is seeking a Mobile Test Engineer to work with a well-established, smart and friendly team, helping to ship high-quality native mobile app features to millions of users on a regular basis. To be successful in this role you will need to be familiar with modern software testing practices. You will also be expected to be capable of writing test automation software in Swift or Kotlin.

You will:

• Automate test cases using XCTest or Espresso
• Work closely with developers on a daily basis
• Manually test mobile app features
• Write and execute test cases
• Create test plans
