Mobile Application Developer at Tivity Health, Inc.

The mobile application developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining mobile applications for iOS and Android.

Qualifications:

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience in lieu of education
• At least 5 years’ experience as a mobile application developer

Proficiency with:

• Reactive Native
• Typescript
• Git, DevOps and CI/CD processes
• Mobile app store deployment

Preferred:

• Experience working with AWS services like AWS Amplify, Lambda and CloudFront

Familiarity with:

• App Center
• GitHub
• Firebase

Description/Responsibilities:

The mobile application developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining mobile applications for iOS and Android. The daily job involves creating efficient and effective solutions to meet the needs of users and clients’ obligations while ensuring that the applications are user-friendly, efficient, and scalable.

The key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and executing enhancement and bug fixes requirements for existing mobile applications
• Designing and building cross platform native mobile applications for iOS and Android
• Using and working with internal and external APIs and data sources
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including QA, product, UI/UX, to define, design, and ship new features
• Testing and debugging applications to ensure their performance, usability, and reliability
• Setting up automated testing using frameworks such as detox
• Configuring mobile app deployment pipeline in multiple environments and responsible for the deployment process
• Monitoring the release application via tools including firebase, for purpose of troubleshooting, production support and opportunity for improvement
• Providing technical support for released applications-
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Participating in code and design reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards
• Creates meaningful, end-user friendly documentation that allows others to quickly understand or get up to speed
• Working closely with delivery leads to ensure that deadlines are met and project requirements are fulfilled
• Contributing to project sizing and estimation.

• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as effectively interact and communicate with teams
