Lead Product Designer at Bryte

We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our team and help us evolve our core product experience with a focus on mobile and tablet apps.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a UX/UI designer, preferably for mass market mobile apps
• Have held at least one lead role on a key product or feature
• Ability to create original, or be able to source commercially available, illustrations appropriate for our brand and for use in our mobile and tablet apps
• Experience working on software applications that interface with hardware a big plus
• Ability to conduct and analyze UX research
• Experience designing micro-animations and speccing for engineering implementation through standard mobile-friendly formats (i.e. Lottie)
• A proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams; experience working with international groups and distributed teams a big plus
• Comprehensive knowledge of established mobile design patterns and best practices, while having the confidence to know when it’s necessary to break them
• Willingness to grow and evolve with a small team on a mission to help people reach their potential and experience life to the fullest through the restorative power of natural sleep

The Role

We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our team and help us evolve our core product experience with a focus on mobile and tablet apps. In this role, you’ll be the design lead on high visibility projects that ensure the Bryte user experience is clear, engaging, delightful, and has the ability to genuinely improve the lives of our customers.

This position reports directly to the Chief Product Officer.

Responsibilities

• Design UX/UI for Bryte mobile and tablet apps focusing on core features
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and data scientists to test, iterate, and continually innovate Bryte’s mobile experience
• Create wireframes, build prototypes, and deliver pixel-perfect visual designs to grow customer engagement and improve customer outcomes
• Establish design guidelines and best practices that will scale alongside our small but fast-growing company
