Kotlin API Developer at Concentrix Catalyst (part of Concentrix)

The Catalyst Team is seeking a Kotlin API Developer to join our full-time team as full-time employee.

Qualifications

Technical Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Kotlin
• Extensive experience developing APIs using Kotlin and the Google Android SDK
• Experience with RESTful API design and development Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth2 and OpenID Connect
• Experience with API documentation tools such as Swagger or OpenAPI Understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques for APIs Strong coding experience in Kotlin/Java programming languages
• Strong experience developing REST APIs using the Spring MVC/Boot framework
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and secure APIs using Kotlin
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software problems
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code is delivered on time
• Work with the front-end development team to understand requirements and provide technical solutions
• Develop and maintain API documentation using Swagger or OpenAPI
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues related to APIs
• Implement and maintain microservices architecture
• Optimize and tune API performance
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in API development
• Work collaboratively in a team environment
