Junior Web Developer at Simple Digital

The Junior Web Developer is responsible for gathering prototypes and wireframes from the design team and developing them into web and mobile user experiences.

Core Qualifications:

The Junior Web Developer should have 2-3 years of hands-on web design and development experience, including proven knowledge in:

• HTML, CSS and Javascript;
• Bootstrap, Wordpress and other popular frameworks;
• Node.js and cPanel.

In addition, the Junior Web Developer should have a basic understanding of the web development process from conception to delivery and some experience in managing clients, whether for an agency or as a freelancer.

Simple Digital is a leading NYC-based boutique agency building websites and apps.

Description:

The Junior Web Developer is responsible for gathering prototypes and wireframes from the design team and developing them into web and mobile user experiences. Some prototypes may be developed in Wordpress using a site builder; however, the majority of the sites built by the Junior Web Developer will be within Bootstrap framework.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Overtime

Experience:

• web development: 3 years (Required)
• project management: 2 years (Preferred)
• JavaScript: 2 years (Required)
