We need one to Work closely with the human resources department and support teams to ensure the quality, discoverability, and accuracy of the content you create and develop.


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of technical writing experience with hands-on experience creating documentation.
  • Understanding of human resources, information technology, and security concepts and best practices.
  • Must have experience with Wikis, Basic web design, HTML, CSS, Markdown/ Media-wiki markup/ Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or other image software.
  • Demonstrate analytical experience, close attention to detail, excellent critical thinking, logic, and solution orientation.
  • Develop, implement, support, and maintain technology-related documentation systems.
  • Experience with creating and editing documents and diagrams using Microsoft applications, such as Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to deliver high-quality documentation.
  • Familiar with information technology and its lifecycle methodologies.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and concise written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate technical details and thoughts in non-technical/general terminology.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
  • Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OrangePeople-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OrangePeople Account Management as requested.

As our team builds and supports new applications at a rapid pace, we are looking for an exceptional Technical Writer to develop and maintain Human Resources documentation including, but not limited to, security policies and procedures, internal process guidelines, technical project documentation, and standard templates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the human resources department and support teams to ensure the quality, discoverability, and accuracy of the content you create and develop.
  • Review, design, write, and edit technical and process documentation.
  • Work with associates/PMs/business owners to generate documents or revise/update previously published documents, as per tasks.
  • Create and maintain standardization of document quality.
  • Review, format, and proofread technical procedure documents; provide completed documents.
  • Translate complex concepts and solutions into multiple types of documents.
  • Create and/or organize material and complete writing assignments according to specified standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
