Junior Systems Engineer, Code Deployment at ASRC Federal Holding Company

ASRC Federal Cyber is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer, Code Deployment with experience or coursework in Azure DevOps to join our team and work with Software Release Management in a CI/CD environment.

Requirement 

• US Citizenship required for the government background investigation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field; additional experience in lieu of a technical degree.
• Ability to obtain a Security+ certification within 30 days of start date.
• 2+ years of web experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub is a plus
• Any exposure to Extract, Transform and Load process (ETL) is a plus
• Familiarity with SQL queries, database design concepts and basic CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations is a plus.
• Any familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) or task runners/build tools (Gulp, Webpack) or front-end technologies like CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, Less) is a plus.

Description

ASRC Federal Cyber is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer, Code Deployment with experience or coursework in Azure DevOps to join our team and work with Software Release Management in a CI/CD environment. US Citizenship is required for the government background investigation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Configure and set up environments such as QA and production servers and collaborate with system administrator to ensure infrastructure, dependencies and resources are in place for successful deployment of code.

Work closely with the development, testing and release management teams to plan and coordinate the deployment process.

Execute deployment process manually or by utilizing automation tools; verify correct code packages are deployed to intended environments and perform necessary checks and validations to prevent incorrect deployments.

Assist in the design and development of customized tools or scripts to automate internal processes by leveraging programming languages, frameworks, and technologies to create efficient and user-friendly automation solutions.
