The Junior Senior Software engineer will be a talented self-motivated Junior Software Engineer who can join NABP to help build the next generation software systems.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience writing code in Angular version 7 and up
  • Experience using SQL to insert, update and retrieve data
  • Familiarity with UI framework like Angular Material or Bootstrap Version 4 and up
  • Experience with GIT version control tool
  • Good communication and analytical skills
  • In touch with industry-wide technology trends and best practices
  • Ability to work with collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals and passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Must be self-motivated with strong desire to learn and grow

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field

DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITES:

The Junior Senior Software engineer will be a talented self-motivated Junior Software Engineer who can join NABP to help build the next generation software systems.

Project Planning & Requirements

  • Interact with database administrators, developers, business analysts, system administrators and end users to interpret business requirements.
  • Perform requirements analysis, and document functional design specifications utilizing current systems, methodologies and tools.
  • Product Improvements & Troubleshooting
  • Investigates reports of outage, improper or untimely operation, determines root cause(s) and develops and executes plans to address.
  • Develops software code changes to address documented deficiencies in the operations of the product(s).
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on new and existing end-user tools and products.

General Responsibilities

  • Fosters and maintains good working relationships, and cooperates actively with staff and third parties regarding assigned development and support tasks.
  • Works cooperatively with NABP staff personnel to analyze, recommend actions and implement actions regarding operational incidents, program malfunctions, or requests for development when an incident occurs with the applications or application creation process, and implements programming changes to address such incidents when necessary.
  • Stays abreast of technical changes in the areas of development competence through formal and informal professional development, and recommends change where necessary to ensure NABP technologies and application programs are effective, secure, and up-to-date.
  • Provides regular reports to the information systems senior manager.

  • Plans and prioritizes tasks effectively; determines and takes appropriate action when faced with challenges.
  • Collaborates with team to analyze opinions/ ideas before making a decision
  • Makes practical and ethical decisions that support department goals and NABP's overall mission.

  • Program Documentation
  • Assures the creation and maintenance of program documentation.
