Junior Software Developer at NAVIENT

We need one to Design, code, debug, test, document and maintain applications software based on established technical design.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Some college related to a Computer Science related field OR completion of Vocational Technology Training. (Additional experience may substitute)
• 0-1 year software application development experience or training (Additional education may substitute)
• Experience developing in C#/.Net and Javascript

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Healthcare experience a plus
• Experience working with ReactJS or KnockoutJS
• Knowledge of web development concepts
• Experience working with relational database and client-server concepts
• Strong problem solving and analytical ability
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Highly organized, extremely detail-oriented
• Ability to quickly grasp business needs and issues quickly
• Ability to work independently

Description

Our Jr. Software Developer role will support our seasoned team and proprietary technologies by assisting with the development of software based on established technical design. This position actively participates in the analysis, development and implementation of custom configurations and automations for our clients.

Essential Job Functions

• Development/Analysis
• Design, code, debug, test, document and maintain applications software based on established technical design.
• Write test plans and perform test runs.
• Troubleshoot development and production problems related to automations.
• Project/Release Activities
• Attend project/release meetings to learn and understand process.
