We are seeking a Junior Software Developer to work on ACMO's flagship product - Fetchie.

About Fetchie

Fetchie is a price tracking app that helps online shoppers track price changes on their favourite products and never miss out on a deal. The app (available for iOS and Android) automatically gathers pricing information for the products you choose from any website, while also finding price from other stores for you to compare and sends instant notifications when there is a price drop. Users can use Fetchie while shopping in-store to scan the product barcode to find a wide range of alternatives nearby, ensuring users get the best value for their money. Fetchie taps into the insights of like-minded shoppers, helping users discover the latest finds and recommendations from their local area. Fetchie is committed to providing an ad-free space and refrains from user data collection, allowing everyone to enjoy their shopping experience.

Your responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain Fetchie environments including production hosted on AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Assist in testing new features or bug fixes in QA environment
  • Smoke Test environment after each code deployments
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and engage with user to understand issues reported
  • Document issues requiring assistance, with detailed reproduction steps and escalate to Application Development team
  • Identify and report opportunities to improve efficiency and quality
  • Keep users updated about system outages or issues impacting critical business processes
  • Track issues and submit status reports
  • Stay up to date with new features and enhancements
