Junior QA Automation Engineer (Java) at IDT Corporation

We are looking for an talented Junior QA Automation Engineer to join us in the development of a new Net2Phone UCaaS platform. Our goal is to reach a full CI/CD pipeline with a target value of 100% automated test cases.

Description

We are looking for an talented Junior QA Automation Engineer to join us in the development of a new Net2Phone UCaaS platform. Our goal is to reach a full CI/CD pipeline with a target value of 100% automated test cases.

You should be interested in testing API services (both monolith and microservices with e2e scenarios and separate atomic cases close to unit test level to speed up delivery) on all projects. You will be able to try your skills in calling tests, performance tests, working with Jenkins and Groovy, help manual QA engineers with using automation as a tool.

The current state of automation: it is a family of several own automation test frameworks in ongoing development. Our goal is to extend and update each of them as a quality gateway for releasing code to any piece of infrastructure that we have. GUI testing is not on our board is it a benefit or not.

We use next technologies in our work:

• TestNG, Gradle.
• Jenkins as a CI/CD system.
• Jira for project management and bug tracking.
• TMS is TestRail.
• We are open to using any reasonable tools to solve tasks and bring more quality to the product.
• We are using Gatling to do a performance task but are open to any tool.

At IDT you will:

• Be a member of a SCRUM team with all related artifacts.
• Automate new test cases, extend and maintain existing cases in different integration areas.
• Build and execute testing routine with Jenkins for all environments.
• Communicate and escalate product quality issues.
• Work with the TMS system to maintain and extend the coverage of the product (yes, we need to link automation cases with TestRail cases and even add on our own).
