The core mission of Outreach Media Group’s Jr. Media Consultant is to help equip the church by developing and managing digital and print advertising campaigns for companies and advertising agencies desiring to reach the faith-based market.


Requirements:

  • Strong sales acumen
  • Marketing knowledge is a plus.
  • Maintain a strong internal drive to succeed in sales and marketing.
  • Learn best practices for sales and marketing disciplines.
  • Communicate effectively on the phone and through email-internally and externally.
  • Have a solid command of technology, excellent typing skills, and exceptional phone manner.

  • Have a learning and self-starter approach to the position.
  • A strong understanding of reading marketing results and knowing recommendations to make based on data.
  • Create a helpful and compelling proposal based on the needs of the client.
  • Develop effective strategies for follow-up with clients and possess the administrative skills to manage them utilizing the following programs: Google Suite, Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other programs as implemented.

Description:

The core mission of Outreach Media Group’s Jr. Media Consultant is to help equip the church by developing and managing digital and print advertising campaigns for companies and advertising agencies desiring to reach the faith-based market. The consultant will develop a client base to leverage across multiple media channels including our Church Leader Web Network and Faith-Based Consumer Network, with the primary responsibility of closing $200,000-$300,000 in sales annually.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Make no fewer than 200 outbound calls a week.
  • Generate no fewer than 5 client meetings weekly.
  • Hunt for new quality clients through a variety of prospecting techniques.
  • Build and grow a book of business to meet monthly sales objectives.
  • Retain clients through expert and consistent post-sales support
  • Engage in a hard-working, fun-loving sales culture in a faith-based workplace environment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma; College degree in a Sales-related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated sales acumen and success.
  • Marketing experience a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to sit/stand at a workstation and spend 75% of working time on the telephone and/or computer.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Office work environment
  • Travel may be required 1-5 times per year.
