As a Junior Laravel developer you will work remotely with a product team of 5 developers, 5 QA engineers, and 1 designer. This is a unique opportunity to join a mission-driven company that just closed a Series A financing following ~20% monthly growth.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Fluent in English.
- Great communication skills.
- Ability to work both within a team and independently.
- Passion for software design, coding practices, testing, and a desire to share new and bold ideas.
- Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented.
Education and Experience:
- Academic degree is a plus, but is not required.
- Knowledge of basic coding languages including C++, HTML5, and JavaScript.
- Basic programming experience.
- Knowledge of databases and operating systems.
- Good working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office software.
- Experience in integrating third-party APIs (Twilio, Google, GitHub etc)
- Good knowledge of relational databases (mysql), version control tools (Git, Github) and of developing web services.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: None at this time, but opportunities for growth into managerial positions are available to those who may qualify.

Your Impact On Our Mission:
As a Junior Laravel developer you will work remotely with a product team of 5 developers, 5 QA engineers, and 1 designer. This is a unique opportunity to join a mission-driven company that just closed a Series A financing following ~20% monthly growth.
Your day to day is…
- Helping the team complete a new and exciting redesign journey. Our apps will be rewritten from scratch in Laravel, Livewire, and Tailwind CSS.
- Writing “clean” code per company coding standards, in a timely and scalable manner.
- Troubleshooting, testing and maintaining the company’s software and databases.
- Modifying software to fix errors, adapting it to new hardware, improving performance, or upgrading interfaces.
- Working in small cross-functional teams to build, ship, and maintain the company’s products.
- Communicating directly with users to gather requirements and feedback.
- Code reviews, automated testing, CI.

Salary Range:
$40,000-$60,000 based on experience.
This is a 1099 contract position with no end date. Employees are responsible for their own taxes and insurance.
