EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- In accordance with Executive Orders, the ability to provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccination.
- Minimum of three (3) years of Federal Recruiting Applications experience
- Experience with Federal recruiting applications
- Basic understanding of federal staffing process
- Basic knowledge of federal HR personnel regulations, rules and policies
- Ability to interact with individuals at all levels to request and provide information
- Attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Attention to detail, data quality and data integrity
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required government security check

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Perform routine and repetitive staffing support duties for all aspects of recruitment to hire functions, such as preparation of referral lists for vacancy candidates, collecting and preparing applicant packets for panel review, coordinating subject matter experts when necessary, monitoring selection process for vacancy candidates, processing selections, presenting job offers, and sending notifications of non-selection.
- Responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions.
- Administer candidate background information forms.
- Post announcements.
- Review qualification and eligibility requirements of applicants.
- Coordinate, track and manage applicant communications.
- Support screening, background and medical testing scheduling.
- Process applications received through the Federal ATS.
- Assist candidates with the completion of Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing.
- Verify minimum requirements.
- Coordinate interview and hiring recommendations with hiring manager and other stakeholders.
Ensure that new hire documentation is properly processed/coded for all required data elements such as U.S. Citizenship, handicap, veteran’s preference, Race and National Origin, pay band, special employment programs, uniformed services status, veteran status, annual leave eligibility, education/certification, tenure group, position occupied, direct deposit forms, FEHB, FEGLI, TSP, and pay setting.
