Junior Full Stack Developer IMG-Crown at IMG-Crown Energy Services Joint Venture, LLC

IMG-Crown is currently seeking a Junior-level full stack level developer with foundational JavaScript and PHP skills to support the day-to-day maintenance of energy-related dashboards, Open Data API, websites and data update procedures.

Requirements:

The candidate for this position will be required to have:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• 2-4 Years of experience in client server or distributed architecture environments in the areas of MS or web-based applications development.
• Proficient experienced in moving and integrating datasets between multiple databases on different servers, and between multiple database tables.
• 2-4 Years of experience developing Web based applications in HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Working knowledge of Internet Information Services (IIS) for Windows® Server.
• Experience with web operations management including deployment of web applications, monitoring, error isolation, escalation, and repair of problems
• Experience in Git and GitFlow or a proficient understanding of version control tools and branching model.
• Some knowledge and experience in the use of continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, etc.) and build/deploy automation.
• Ability to document requirements and specifications

Nice to Have:

• Experience as a Front-end Software Developer with experience designing interactive web applications
• Proficient understanding and experience with advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS
• Proficient knowledge of PHP web frameworks such Slim and dependency management tools such as Composer
• Familiarity with Highcharts or similar alternatives
• Familiarity with SQL query construction (ie. Database scripts, views, stored procedures)
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Description:

IMG-Crown is currently seeking a Junior-level full stack level developer with foundational JavaScript and PHP skills to support the day-to-day maintenance of energy-related dashboards, Open Data API, websites and data update procedures. Primary responsibilities include developing deep understanding of data sets, data relationships, and business rules; translating client work requests into actionable technical requirements. Actively participates in the successful delivery of information dissemination products (e.g. dashboards) for the Office of Information Technology at leading government agency. This is currently a fully remote/ telework position.

Job Type: Regular Full-time, exempt

Work Location: Telework. Employee must be based out of one of the following states: AZ, DC, FL, GA, IL, ME, MD, MI, NY, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, VA, WI, and WV.

Core (required) hours: 9am – 4pm EST

Pay Range: $75,000 - $100,000 depending on experience and qualifications
