About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and talented Junior Front-End Developer to join our development team. This role is perfect for someone with a foundation in front-end technologies, an appreciation for the crypto/DeFi space, and a self-starter attitude. If you're eager to learn, adapt, and contribute to multiple projects within an exciting and fast-evolving industry, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using HTML, CSS, JS + React
  • Implement responsive designs for desktop and mobile platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience
  • Use best practices for optimizing performance, SEO, and accessibility
  • Deploy applications and manage DNS and cloud services for multiple domains
  • Integrate Web3 technologies, such as wallet connection and contract interaction, to build secure identity and payment features and services
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment, moving fluidly between multiple active projects and interfacing with clients and external partners in a professional manner

Basic Requirements

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
  • Familiarity with collaborative design apps (e.g. Figma) and experience converting wireframes to responsive React components for both mobile and desktop
  • Experience with React frameworks, such as NextJS and Vite, as well as state management techniques and libraries (e.g. React Context, Zustand/Redux/Jotai/etc.)
  • Familiarity with Web3 wallet management and interfacing with smart contracts (wagmi + viem + connectkit preferred)
  • Understanding of Git workflows for navigating pull requests, code reviews, and deployment checks/actions
  • Clear communication, both written (e.g. Slack, Telegram, pull requests, documentation, etc.) and verbal (e.g. video conferencing)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the crypto/DeFi space is a significant plus
  • Experience with styled-components
  • Experience with unit/integration testing best practices and libraries (e.g. Jest, Vitest)
  • Experience with creating Progressive Web Apps
  • Experience with WebXR technologies (e.g. WebGL, org/">ThreeJS and the @react-three suite)
  • Familiarity with authentication integrations/services (e.g. Google Identity, OAuth, etc.)
  • Familiarity with deployment and DNS management platforms like Vercel, Cloudflare, Godaddy, etc.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing infrastructure (e.g. AWS, GCP, Digital Ocean, etc.)
  • Skills in asset creation and editing tools (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Inkscape, etc.)
  • Interest in game design and mechanics
