Junior DevOps Engineer at Piper Companies

Piper Companies is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to support a premiere global DNS resolution servicer in a remote capacity.

Qualifications for the Junior DevOps Engineer include:

• 1+ years of experience developing or operating mission-critical systems
• 1+ years of experience in a cloud environment using DevOps/microservices practices: AWS or Azure preferred
• Experience with automation tools such as: Ansible, Terraform, Maven, or Jenkins
• Experience with programming languages such as: Python, Shell, Bash, Java or comparable
• Understanding of infrastructure-as-code

Description

Piper Companies is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to support a premiere global DNS resolution servicer in a remote capacity. The Junior DevOps Engineer will be expected to provide QA, infrastructure, and automation support for a large-scale portfolio of IP and DNS datasets.

Responsibilities of the Junior DevOps Engineer include:

• Provide senior level engineering support for DevOps and system administration teams
• Perform orchestration & automation of scripts and infrastructure-as-code
• Provide configuration and administration tasks in a Linux environment
• Perform cloud automation and configuration in a mixed cloud; AWS/Azure environment
• Writing CICD workflows for variety of tasks and helping with automations
• Deploy monitoring tools, setup and facilitate alerts, lean on Git/Github

Compensation for the Junior DevOps Engineer include:

• Pay Rate Range: $50-65/hr
• Salary Range: $105,000-115,000 base
