What we're looking for...

• B.S. in Computer Science or related engineering field
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Competent in browser end JavaScript/TypeScript
• Competent in NodeJS/TypeScript
• Experience with relational databases (SQL is a plus)
• Need to be able to work independently and manage your own time

Nice-to-have skills/experience

• Experience with C#
• Experience with Cloud Serverless infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform or AWS Lambda)
• B2B (wholesale) distribution
• REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Encompass ERP Software (encompasstech.com)

$82,000 - $90,000 a year

Job Summary

We’re looking for a remote-based Junior developer to join our team. The qualified candidate will be collaborative and flexible but goal-oriented. Our team works remotely and collaboratively and we operate in a fast-paced environment so strong communication skills are essential. This role will create and support custom tools and work with team members to upkeep the platform.

As Junior Developer with KSS, you will...

• Design and build KPI reporting tools that enable non-technical users to update their goals
• Design and build surveys, forms and other ways to capture data from customers and users
• Design, build, and deploy tools to facilitate more efficient and accurate deliveries
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements
• Work directly with users to support new feature rollouts
• Support new feature development and testing for our KSS Live customer portal
• Build EDI and integration tools to be used by our suppliers and customers
• Build and support integrations with third-party software platforms
