The Junior Developer will develop, build, test, implement and maintain existing and future web based software needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• 1-3 years development experience
• Must have knowledge of, and the ability to work in: C Sharp, REST API and Microsoft Stack
• Preferred familiarity with: SQL Server, POSTGRES
• Experience with e-commerce software such as shopify, big commerce, magento is a plus
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts and solutions to non-technical professionals and customers
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
• Travel on company behalf when necessary
• Able to work remotely anywhere

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Junior Developer will develop, build, test, implement and maintain existing and future web based software needs. To begin, the incumbent will take an existing program structure and build out the back-end for overall completeness and operational quality. As with any start-up, this position has the potential to grow overtime, and the ideal candidate is interested in learning within the field and expanding his or her scope of work within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the full stack progress of existing e-commerce products, while identifying opportunities for enhancements and expansion; focus on back-end development
• Meet regularly with business stakeholders and management to understand and refine business and functional requirements and determine project scopes and specifications
• Perform code reviews and help maintain code quality, performance and application responsiveness
• Monitor software stability, support quality assurance, and perform user-acceptance testing to identify bugs and ensure production operations run successfully
• Maintain updated knowledge of new and emerging industry trends and technology
