ABS Kids is looking for a Jr System Administrator to join our IT team. The Jr. System Administrator is primarily responsible for developing, maintaining, securing, and evolving company IT Systems.


Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field, or a combination of relevant education and prior work experience
  • 1-2 years' experience administering IT systems including Microsoft Azure/O365
  • Prior experience with multi-factor and single sign-on technologies
  • System administration and IT certifications in Microsoft preferred


Jr System Administrator

ABS Kids is looking for a Jr System Administrator to join our IT team. The Jr. System Administrator is primarily responsible for developing, maintaining, securing, and evolving company IT Systems. The position is responsible the daily administration, support, and maintenance of key business systems including but not limited to Microsoft Azure AD, Microsoft 365 (Office/Teams/Sharepoint), email security, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), computing endpoint security systems, and a limited on-premise server infrastructure.

Our Administrative Support team members play a vital role in advancing our mission to make a difference in the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder and their families. Every team member at ABS Kids is passionate about providing best in class support to our direct care providers, who in turn deliver the highest quality ABA therapy to our patients.

What would you do?

  • Assist Systems Administrator in maintaining, securing, and supporting Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Exchange/Office 365, and Teams environments.
  • Maintain, secure, and ensure operation of all virtual and on-premise servers and associated backup and recovery operations.
  • Perform periodic maintenance of key SaaS applications.
  • Assist with the maintenance and support of Microsoft security systems including multi-factor authentication and single sign-on technologies.
  • Daily monitoring of systems infrastructure, security alerts, computing endpoints, and remediation of issues as necessary.
  • Utilizing Microsoft PowerShell to perform more complex configuration changes and updates.
  • Monitor IT ticket queues and direct resolutions for support tickets and requests escalated from IT Support staff.
  • Assist Systems Administrator with infrastructure and security systems initiatives.
  • Proactively work with internal IT staff, cross-functional teams, system users, and management to develop and implement technological solutions to improve, enhance, and expand the functionality of IT systems.
  • Document IT processes, automation workflows, policies, configurations, and troubleshooting guides for Infrastructure services and supported technologies.
  • Assist Systems Administrator with after-hours major systems updates, migrations, or emergency incident events.
  • Maintain technical knowledge and proficiency through actively pursuing training and research.
  • Effectively communicate status, changes, and issues to the relevant parties and stakeholders.
  • Assist Systems Administrator to work through technical issues as they arise.
  • Other duties as required
