As a Jr. Software Engineer, you will be working with engineers, designers, and product managers supporting key initiatives to enhance the client experience

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years’ experience as a .NET / C# Developer
• Ability to write front end and server-side unit tests
• Familiarity with Web development with frontend frameworks such as Angular or React – Angular preferred
• Familiarity/training in developing applications using AWS
• Familiarity/training with SQL DDL and DML scripting
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps tooling and best practices for CI/CD
• Working knowledge of workflow and task management tools (JIRA and Confluence/ Azure DevOps)
• Familiarity with Agile practices, ability to work with small Agile teams
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

We are developing methods to navigate the complexities of human trafficking for one of our government clients. As part of our Anti-Trafficking Information Management System team, you will be part of diverse team assuring data aggregation, data quality and usability across a data set growing every week. You will partner directly with federal customers and other stakeholders to understand, plan, and build power software to enable the fight against trafficking.

Responsibilities:

• As a Jr. Software Engineer, you will be working with engineers, designers, and product managers supporting key initiatives to enhance the client experience
• Working closely with customers to build core features and support production applications
• Working to modernize and deprecate existing legacy applications using new open-source technologies and modern cloud infrastructure
• Building scalable products that will quite likely last decades
• Working on developing application using AWS
• Demonstrate experience in .Net development and front-end frameworks such as Angular.
• Demonstrate experience in designing, testing, debugging and documenting software.
