The Junior Product Owner is responsible for setting, prioritizing, and evaluating the work generated by the Technology teams in order to ensure impeccable features and functionality of the products.

  • In-depth understanding of industry market conditions and trends
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s in business administration preferred; Associate’s degree or comparable experience in field required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work in an office environment; sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time; use hands to grasp and reach; occasionally stoop or kneel; see, hear, and speak with sufficient acuity to successfully perform all aspects of the job; use telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means; lift up to ten pounds of weight.

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • The Junior Product Owner is responsible for setting, prioritizing, and evaluating the work generated by the Technology teams in order to ensure impeccable features and functionality of the products.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Core Competencies)
  • Supervise and advise the scrum team to meet software expectations
  • Manage the product development team to create a strong end product
  • Nurture ideas and solutions to existing customer problems
  • Communicate effectively with team members to achieve project goals
  • Extract and retrieve information and data sets to improve upon software
  • Determine roadmaps for products in the creation phase
  • Work closely with the scrum team throughout the development process
  • Schedule and lead meetings to identify issues and fixes for projects
  • Meet SLAs for submitted bugs, feature requests, and general tickets
  • Respond in a timely manner to all submitted requests, questions, comments, and concerns
